It’s almost August, and you know what that means? We’re less than a month away from Costa Maya!
Every year, Belize’s biggest festival takes San Pedro and Ambergris Caye by storm; a fury of dance, parades, food and drink. This year, from August 4 to 6, the stage is set for multicultural spectacle once again!
Dance, music, pageants… it’s a celebration of Mayan culture that lasts a full week. This year La Reina de la Costa Maya Pageant seeks the participation of Belize, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama – all the Central American countries. It’s a world class event hosted on quaint Ambergris Caye.
If you want to attend but don’t want the sound of the festivities to keep you up when you do go to bed, that’s where Captain Morgan’s comes in, close enough to make enjoyment easy and far enough to sleep soundly.
