If you need your silver to match and a full set of barware this is not your place. As for me I loved the old fashioned plantation Tahiti stole with lots of local art in our 2 bedroom timeshare. Good at the restaurant was close to best … More I had in the island. A pool right outside our door got lots of use. Friendly staff but make requests via their web site. So it's not a Hyatt or Marriott but if you like local flavor this is a wonderful place. PS. Be careful if you rent a golf cart for the week that you do it officially. .

Went there to use the pool and have lunch and drinks.....a wonderful place and if I needed a place to stay I would certainly stay at Captain Morgan's.

The Spa at Captain Morgans is very thorough and relaxing, highly recommended. The food is also tasty and great. The large pool is very cooling.

Staff was very friendly. We had a broken safe and it took a few times to fix it. Meals were good at resort just very slow service if you are on a rush. Very friendly wait staff. It's been a while since we were there, but what a wonderful getaway! We enjoyed our private cabin on the beach, it was so romantic and peaceful! Everything was very clean and we had no problems. It is far from the "downtown" … More area, but it's a scenic golf cart ride so it's worth it!

ALL the staff at Captain Morgan's Retreat were kind, accommodating and protocol friendly. Rodger hooked us up with the exact excursions we wanted. Phil was very helpful getting us hooked up with our road warrior gulf cart.
The beach … More entry is for activities not wading in, which is a draw back but we quickly adapted to that hardship????
