Heads up — Captain Morgan’s Retreat is officially Gold Standard Certified by the Belize Tourism Board! All COVID-19 safety protocols are in place so that our guests can relax on their next trip to Ambergris Caye.
The Belize Tourism Board’s Gold Standard Certification “focuses on enhancing the hotel and restaurant cleaning practices, social interactions, workplace policies, and standard operating procedures, while ensuring minimal impact on the guest experience” (quoted from the Belize Tourism Board’s website). In order to receive this certification, Captain Morgan’s had to provide proof that we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our guests as safe as possible.
Upon our reopen on January 9, 2021, our guests will be able to relax once again on one of our white-sand beaches. Look forward to kayaking through azure waters and diving or snorkeling the second-largest barrier reef in the world.
