Captain Morgan’s Worry-Free Weather Policy is designed to make your travel planning as stress-free as possible! The following terms & conditions apply for all reservations made directly through Captain Morgan’s Retreat (phone, email or the Captain Morgan’s Retreat website booking engine):
TRIP RESCHEDULING
If a hurricane warning is issued for Belize prior to your check-in date, Captain Morgan’s Retreat will credit your deposit towards a future stay. Credit must be redeemed within 12 months of your original check-in date.
WEATHER RELATED TRAVEL ISSUES
If flights are cancelled due to extreme weather, you will have the following options:
- Arrive on first available flight and enjoy the same number of nights confirmed at the same rate (based on room availability) or stay until your original departure date and receive a refund for any unused nights.
- Cancel your reservation and receive a credit equal to the amount paid for your original reservation for use towards a future stay. Credit must be redeemed within 12 months of your original check-in date.
EARLY DEPARTURES
If a hurricane warning is issued for Belize, guests who are forced to depart early from Captain Morgan’s Retreat will receive a refund for any unused nights.
TRIP EXTENSIONS
If you are unable to depart due to airport closures, you will be offered reduced rates to ensure minimal costs for the inconvenience.
TOURS & ACTIVITIES
Guest safety always comes first at Captain Morgan’s Retreat. If you are unable to participate in a tour due to extreme weather, you will receive a full refund on any pre-paid tours or activities.
TRIP INSURANCE
We will do everything we can to make things easy and worry-free when it comes to bad weather! We do however recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to ensure that you are covered for all eventualities.
